4 methods to improve the effectiveness of your virtual meetings
1/ Set a clear agenda: outline the meeting objectives and share them in advance to ensure focused and productive discussions.
2/ Keep meetings short: we’ve all had Zoom fatigue at some point by now, right? Respect your team’s time, keep meetings concise and time-bound, focusing on key points and decisions.
3/ Encourage participation: get the best out of your meetings by making your team feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts and insights. You can do this by asking open-ended questions and inviting input from all members. You could rotate meeting facilitators to offer diverse perspectives and make everyone feel valued.
4/ Follow up with notes: this is an important one, especially if some people can’t make the meeting. You can also switch the minute-taker of each meeting to share key takeaways and action points in a follow-up email (or company-preferred choice of comms)
