What Makes Da Nang an Ideal Hub for Digital Nomads? 🇻🇳 — ATR #16

AllThingsRemote Newsletter: Your collection of resources & digital nomad news to help you embrace your remote work & travel journey - collated & curated for you!

Hey remoters,

After a week in Vietnam — I’m back in Chiang Mai for a bit less than a month, then I’ll be heading to see my family in England for Christmas!

Christmas in the sun just doesn’t feel festive enough for me so I am excited to get to the UK — although give me a few days and I’ll be wishing for the sunshine once more.

So, after spending some time in Da Nang & Hoi this past month, I quite like the idea of giving it a try as a potential nomad spot.

Here are several reasons why living in Da Nang as a digital nomad is already a popular choice for many remote workers 👇

Affordability: You can enjoy a comfortable lifestyle with Da Nang's lower cost of living. Cheap rent and copious amounts of coffee shops to work from!

Nature: Being surrounded by nature always helps to build a better work-life balance, especially when you’ve got beautiful beaches and mountains to choose from.

Internet Connectivity: Incredible speeds at nearly every cafe I worked from. While some may be slower, the abundance of options allows you to explore until you discover a cafe that works for you. i.e. Fast wifi, good for people watching + some focused work time too!

Weather: I was there during the rainy season yet it didn’t impact the day too much! You can enjoy the mild and pleasant climate pretty much all year round, with an inviting sea breeze on the hotter days!

Accessibility: Da Nang International Airport has affordable flight connections to other Asian nomad hubs.

Could you see yourself living in Da Nang for a couple of months of the year? Maybe you already have — hit reply and tell me how it is!
